Denbigh Community Primary School is set in spacious grounds and provides a welcoming and stimulating environment for over 450 children aged 3-11 years.
All staff and governors at Denbigh are committed to providing the best possible education for our children.
Our aim is to maximise the potential of every child in school by striving to give them a broad, well balanced and creative, education. Most importantly we want our children to enjoy school and for all of them to reach their full potential, at home and at school, in partnership with parents.

The Dinos are loving their history topic about pirates. This afternoon we looked at all the different jobs pirates would have on board and decided which was the most important. Overall we decided that being the Captain was not the most important and that being the Helmsman (the person who steers the ship), the Master (the navigator who reads the maps and compass) or the Boatswain (the person in charge of keeping the ship in tiptop condition) were far more important roles to have. Then we had a go at drawing our own pirate ships. #dcpsdinosaur #dcpshistory #dcpscore ... See MoreSee Less
